The Light classical vocal or Sugam Sangeet incorporates more of words with different rhythm and style. Leena’s Music Academy will be focusing on the teachings based on expressions and depth to give you enriching experience.

For Kids/Adults:

We think that anybody can sing.

First we make students to listen the songs in order to study those songs.

First we ask the student to sing and we assess the texture and type of voice modulations.

Based on his voice we chose which songs are suitable for voice and we prepare the student for those songs.

This will tone up his voice.

Then we teach technical detailing for songs such as Mind, Muraki, khatka, etc. whichever is required for the singing those songs.

Then we ask student to sing songs from different style which will enable the singer to become versatile singer.

Classical Music
Hindustani classical music is the foundation of any form of singing. If you are interested to sing well, then you need to learn the basics of Sargam, Alankar, Raag, Aalaap, Taan and Taal.

This course is specially designed for benefiting students who are interested in Classical based songs. Classical vocal singer will also be supported with Light music training.

Since the ancient times, variety of musical instruments including Harmonium have been used for the entertainment and religious ceremonies. The course is especially designed to learn the fundamentals with different melodies and songs.

Mukta aalapi (Gayki)
This unique course refers to unrestricted singing of melody (aalapi) without confine to avartana, where as avartana is one complete cycle of musical time in Indian classical music.
This course is for those who want to learn advance level, and they are for all ages.
