Leena Music academy was started in 2016 by Leena Teacher with all her passion for music with a small group of students. It started in a premium society in Pune with just 2 students ! Initially the academy was addressing only domestic students. Within just few months the number of students increased to 6 and then ..... there was no looking back.
Leena, the guru of the academy, started the institute with the noble cause of living the legacy of great Indian classical music. In the year 2021, Leena Music Academy received accreditation from Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva mahavidyalay. This means that Leena Music Academy can officially conduct music exams and it is an authorised centre for music. All this was achieved with no formal advertisement of the academy. It shows the love from students and her quality of teaching. The institute believes in conducting efficient classes with value for money concept in mind. Students don't have to write notations during the class. This saves their time. They are given ready-made notations with customized way of writing them developed during the course. This format allows students to focus on their music than unimportant activities. Today, the academy has crossed the mark of 100 students learning at the present, and houses 5 teachers with ambition spread music to more and more people.
Our Founder
Mrs. Leena Pande is a Sangeet Visharad in vocal (classical) music from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya.
Leena has done Masters in Music and is an Akashwani B+ singer.
A versatile singer with more than 30 years of experience, Leena is a composer and a Multi-instrumentalist with high level of proficiency.
Performed numerable live musical stage shows and also organised, anchored and hosted multiple musical programs.
The founder has special interest in Classical, filmy(marathi/hindi), folk and fusion music. She has performed in numerous live stage musical shows and also organised and anchored many of them.
